From William Knox`s book: "William S and Sarah Ann Knox were visiting their daughter "Franki" (Missouri Florencek, Mrs. Tom Knight) in Ballinger when when he came down with an illness from which he did not recover. He died on June 6, 1891, and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery at Ballinger in sec. 3, lot no. 279, space 8.
Sarah Ann lived with the family of E.S.P. Knox in Stephens County until her death a little more than a year later on August 25, 1892. She is buried in Breckenridge Town Cemetery."
