Attended San Fernando First Church of Christ in San Fernando, CA. She met her husband there and they married just two months prior to her sister at the same church. They moved to Denair, CA in 1951 and purchased a farm with walnuts, peaches and grapes. Eventually they farmed just almonds. She worked along side Linc on the ranch. She loved cooking, sewing, missions and collecting cardinals. She taught her daughters to cook and sew and some of her granddaughters to sew as well. She and a granddaughter each won blue ribbons at the county fair for their sewing projects.
