George Ingoldsby, gentleman, and his brothers Francis Ingoldsby, esquire, and John Ingoldsby were sons of Richard Ingoldsby, esquire, of Lenborough (in Buckingham Hundred), Buckinghamshire by his wife Winifred Greenway, a daughter of Thomas Greenway, esquire, and his wife Elizabeth Lee.
George and his two brothers were grandsons of John Ingoldsby, esquire, by his wife Elizabeth Elmes Ingoldsby.
They were direct descendants of Agnes (Berdewell) Ingoldsby who died on Jan. 12, 1492/93 possessed of Lenborough Manor.
