2002 Freightliner FL60

This truck has been sold.  It has a Cat 3126 engine rated at 300HP and 860 ft lbs. of torque.  It has an Allison 6 speed automatic transmission.  As you can see, it is a 4 door crew cab body style and it has only 43,000 miles.  The wheelbase is 187 inches.  Oil changes have been done every 8,000 miles and an M3 service was done at 40,000miles.  It has air brakes and air suspension on the rear axle and cab as well as Bostrom air seats so it rides great.  The interior is grey cloth and includes a rear bench seat that lays down to form a bed at the push of a button.  It has 22.5 in chrome wheels and 150 gallon fuel capacity.  There are five storage boxes, two built into the sides of the bed and three aluminum boxes bolted to the deck.  It has a Trailersaver 5th wheel air hitch and a standard 2 inch receiver.   













This was before I installed the three boxes on the bed.  The Trailersaver air hitch makes any 5th wheel ride like a dream.

These are the storage boxes on the bed.  The Husky is an off the shelf tool chest that is 60" x 20" x 19" tall.  The two side boxes were custom made for me by Mountain Master in Phoenix.  The are 46" x 19" x 8 1/2" tall.  All the boxes are lockable.   They are positioned so that all can be opened when the trailer is hooked up, as long as it is  close to straight behind the truck.  You can make 90 degree turns and have plenty of clearance.
