Chris fell down & broke his crown…..

Published by at 1:09 pm under Winter 2008

We just found out that during the ice storm last week Chris slipped on the ice when he went to retrieve their mail. His head bled a lot and he was knocked out for a few seconds. Dayna took him to the emergency room ….. very slowly & very carefully ….. and it turned out he did have a concussion. He has some memory loss from the day but it doesn’t look like it did any permanent damage, thank God.

Good example of what an ice storm can do. Hope he has recovered completely.

Wow, I hope he continues to be fine. He didn’t end up with BPPV, did he? Be careful, Chris!

That is scary! That ice is dangerous stuff. Get better soon Chris, and walk carefully!

He hasn’t mentioned any vertigo problems – just the memory loss. Don’t know if that will come back or not. Only time will tell.

I did suggest they get some rock salt to have on hand for next time! We’ve had an icy step before and I’ve just sprinkled table salt on it – anything to de-ice it quickly.

    How’s Chris?

    When are you coming west?

    As ornery as ever!

We’ll be heading west next week. Our month’s rent is up on the 22nd I believe.

Happy Birthday, Richard. Now you’re a real senior citizen.
